Sustainability

"If you think you are too small to be effective you have never been in bed with a mosquito."

“I’ve been barefoot since 1963, so you guys better make sure you are sustainable.” Peggy

Peggy owns a wood in the South East of England where she lives in a yurt and likes to walk and admire all the trees she has grown to offset our Carbon Footprint.

Carbon Neutral

"Nature is neutral."

“Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe.” Albert Einstein

Albert, which was developed at the BBC, is the UK television industry's carbon calculator. By using Albert at the start of the production process to predict the expected carbon footprint, we can highlight opportunities for improvement and take steps throughout to lower our actual carbon footprint - thereby reducing the impact on the environment. The use of Albert is mandatory for BBC Television and BBC Children's productions.

Pollution

"Plastic costs billions to abate."

Plastic Pollution Coalition is a global alliance of individuals, organizations, businesses and policymakers working toward a world free of plastic pollution and its toxic impact on humans, animals, the ocean and the environment.

Plastic affects human health.
Chemicals leached by plastics are in the blood and tissue of nearly all of us. Exposure to them is linked to cancers, birth defects, impaired immunity, endocrine disruption and other ailments.

Everything suffers: tourism, recreation, business, the health of humans, animals, fish and birds—because of plastic pollution. The financial damage continuously being inflicted is inestimable.
